Greetings!
2008 is the 60th Anniversary of the United
Nations Declaration of Human Rights. But what
does human rights mean in the changing world of
the 21st century? Even if there were to
be a universal basis for human rights then how
can it be enforced and monitored in our world
and how can our own Governments enshrine such a
declaration in their own behaviour and
legislation. These and many other issues
are ones that we hope to explore at our meeing
on October 16th being held in partnership with
the London Metropolitan University and 21st
Century Network. You need to register to
attend so please contact us hereWe
have a high profile platform of
speakers. |
